About Me

I’m just a guy who got diagnosed with cancer at age 26 I am now 31, trust me it was a shock!  So I am trying to help other people who are just as clueless as I was when my roller coaster ride started.  I have participated in a clinical trial, have had over thirty bone marrow aspirations, and undergone quite a few rounds of chemotherapy.  Three years ago I had a bone marrow transplant, which I knew had only a 50% chance of curing the disease.  While the bone marrow transplant was successful for the most part, I did contract an acute case of Graft Vs. Host Disease.  Essentially, my body is fighting off my donor’s bone marrow.  If you want to read more about how I got diagnosed with leukemia, just click on the “Danny’s Story” tab above.
